Sharing practice: Working in partnership to develop student facing services

June 3, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

kickstart-22

The Library Student Advisory Group develops meaningful partnerships with students in decision and policy making. This constructive dialogue combined with other feedback mechanisms has influenced┬áthe Library’s capacity for┬áproblem solving and having a more immediate and positive impact on the student experience. Using the Student Advisory Group as one exemplar approach, this session will help participants to consider how working in partnership with students can improve the quality of a service department’s offering to students. This is a key element of the University’s Student Engagement Strategy and will support staff and students to see how they can contribute to this agenda.

EDEU are hosting a series of development sessions on student engagement that are open to staff, student reps and other interested students. They are sessions which originally ran at our Kickstart conference in October and we are rerunning them for those who couldn’t attend the conference.
