Student Survey Results Workshop

EDEU’s role is to support staff and students in enhancing teaching, learning and student engagement. One priority within this is to help with making better use of student evaluations, including from surveys, to inform this enhancement and we are therefore piloting this new kind of workshop which brings together staff and student reps from across disciplines to unpick, interpret and respond to the data coming from surveys in a collaborative and supportive way.

The sessions will be very practical and hands on with EDEU colleagues guiding programme teams (staff and students) through some basic analysis and using techniques to identify priority areas for attention. By having a range of disciplines in the room we can then share ideas and practice that has already been tried and tested to help out peers needing some inspiration in that area and, similarly, we can draw on the experience in the room to think through ideas for issues without easy and obvious answers. All in all, we are hoping for a lively, productive and collaborative couple of hours that will get you off to a good start in making use of recent survey data.

You can bring along any data that is helpful and formatted in a way which is useful for you, but we will supply snapshots of results from the National Student Survey (2013-14), Level Two Student Survey (2014-15) and New Starters Survey (2014-15) for your area(s). Any questions? Just email: studentengagement@lincoln.ac.uk
